Church Tweens Raise Funds for Kids in Affordable Housing
School may be out for the summer, but some local tweens engaged in their own lessons of charity.
Instead of spending time at the pool or playing video games, some of the youngest members of St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church raised $400 for the children of families residing in housing provided by Good Shepherd Housing as part of a week-long Mission Possible Kids Camp developed and led by the Rev. Abi Foerster.
