Bring a taste of NOLA home with this Mardi Gras cocktail class. John Shope from Catoctin Creek will be joining us again to help us all create a few iconic New Orleans cocktails. We will also be offering a food pairing from Revel‘s Chef Larry who hails from Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Cocktails: The Sazerac, The Milk Punch and The King Cake Old Fashioned
Bonus Cocktail: The Vieux Carré
Food Pairing Option: Chef Larry’s Meat Pies and Chicken & Andouille Gumbo

Tickets with supplies and food will cut off Friday February 5, 2021, at 5 pm. We can only provide supplies and food to participants in the Metro DC area.

Supplies will be delivered to participants on Thursday, February 11 or Friday, February 12. Deliveries will be scheduled in advance and we require that an adult 21 years old or older be available to receive the supplies.

Cocktail recipes will be provided the week of the event.

Cocktail Shaker
Glassware (Rocks Glass, Highball Glass, wine goblet or brandy glass, Coffee/Tea/Hot Toddy Mug)
Ice (Regular Cubes and if available, some larger ice cube molds)
Cocktail Toothpicks (Preferably large bamboo ones, though any large style pic will work)
Small Cutting Board
Small Paring Knife
A Bar Towel
Microplane (for fresh Nutmeg)
Bartender Spoon, Swizzle Stick or long stirring item

The Krewe of Hestia Sponsor – $500: Hestia is the Goddess of Housing. Virtual ticket – $30: Join us for all the fun via Zoom, but without the cocktail making supplies. (tax deductible amount $30)
