It’s that time of year when the concept of home becomes most meaningful. First, as shelter from the cold, dreary weather and early darkness that come in December. Second, as a place where loved ones gather to experience holidays and create lifelong memories.

Good Shepherd Housing offers homes to those who otherwise couldn’t have them due to poor credit, job loss and illness. We provide a place where a family can feel secure to pursue productive lives. GSH provides an alternative to the homeless shelter for people denied housing in their own name due to bad credit or a poor rental history. People rent from us and we help them clean up their credit and rental reference problems. Currently, GSH owns 43 units and we rent then sublet to our client 32 more. That is a total of 76 housing units for families in need in our area. We are striving to preserve as much affordable housing as possible.
